Louth Wind Orchestra

The Louth Wind Orchestra entertained a packed audience with a wide selection of music, including Christmas songs, at Tetney church on Friday 2nd December. Mulled wine and hot mince pies were served at the interval.

Harvest Supper

An enjoyable evening was spent at St Peter & St Paul Church Harvest Supper, with entertainment provided by Da Capo, an excellent local folk group.

Christmas Concert — Cameron Richardson-Eames

Cameron Richardson-Eames performed with trumpeter Matilda Lloyd (BBC Young Brass Player of the Year, 2014), a highly accomplished musician who has collaborated with Cameron on the Park Lane Group Young Artists Scheme for recitals in London and across the UK, including live performances on BBC Radio 3.

Cameron, born in Grimsby, is one of the UK's foremost young accompanists — a choral scholar and graduate of Trinity College Cambridge and the Royal Academy of Music, and a member of the music faculty at the University of Cambridge, teaching Dissertation Studies and Keyboard Harmony. He is currently a Fulbright Scholar at The Juilliard School in New York and a Fellow of Trinity College London in piano performance, having been awarded the Royal Academy of Music's honorary Diploma for outstanding postgraduate performance.

His recent engagements include broadcasts on radio in the UK and US, and performances across Europe and in New York, at Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall. His students have gone on to appear in Broadway shows, world tours, television and film.

Flower Festival — What the Dickens!

The theme for this year's Flower Festival was the works of Charles Dickens. As on previous occasions, the flower arrangements were combined with paper sculptures created by Martyn Pidgen, and both were greatly admired by the many visitors who attended over the weekend.
